All About Marnie

IMG_0003Marnie is a very special mare at HillCroft Stables. She is going to have her very first foal! Due date is April 6th.

Marnie is a true black Canadian warmblood mare She is a gentle giant, standing 18 hands, who loves to have her nose rubbed.

Marnie joined the HillCroft family six years ago. Her initial training focused on foreword balance and activity that lead to her being responsive under saddle. She progressed with her training as a dressage prospect over the next several years and was successfully shown at training level. Judges’ comments have always been very positive about her movements and potential.

Sally and Karol spent many hours searching for just the right stallion for Marnie. They found the perfect sire for Marnie’s first foal at Rolling Stone Farm in Pennsylvania. His name is Shakespeare RSF and he is a dark brown Hanoverian standing 16.2.
